Custom wedding suites

A custom suite is a small piece of your story, illustrated just for you. Here’s how one comes together, from our first hello to the moment it’s in your guests’ hands.

How a suite comes together

01

Getting to know your story

Every suite begins with a conversation. You tell me about the two of you, the place you’re getting married and the little things you love: a favorite flower, the café where you had your first date, the view from the porch. Some couples arrive with a Pinterest board full of ideas; others simply know how they want it to feel. Either way, I listen for the details that make your day yours.

02

Design

Then those details become illustration. Florals, borders, monograms and lettering are created from scratch for your suite, sometimes with pen and paper and often digitally, so nothing you receive is clip art or a stock template. If there’s a venue or a spot that means something to you, I’ll paint it too. Those little portraits often end up framed after the wedding.

03

Proofs & revisions

Next you’ll see everything come together in proofs, each piece shown front and back and labeled with its size. We read through the illustration, the lettering and every word of the wording together, and refine it until it feels exactly right. Nothing is finalized until you love it.

04

Print or digital delivery

Finally, your suite comes to life one of two ways. With print delivery, it’s printed on soft, textured recycled paper with local small-business printers and arrives ready to mail. With digital delivery, you receive print-ready files to print wherever you like or share online. From first conversation to finished suite takes about six weeks.

Wedding suite

Hannah + Caleb

Pieces
Invitation, details insert, RSVP postcard, monogram crest

Soft watercolor wildflowers in blush, butter yellow and sage, with a painted portrait of the white barn where they married. A custom monogram crest tied with a pink ribbon carries through the suite, and the RSVP postcard opens with a watercolor sky over Chico, California.

How proofs arrive

Every proof shows each piece of the suite front and back, labeled with its size, so you can see exactly what will be printed before anything is final.

Wedding suite

Bekah + Sean

Pieces
Invitation, details card, addressed envelopes

Loose watercolor peonies in coral, butter yellow and deep red climb around the invitation, and the details card carries a soft watercolor portrait of the church beneath the Santa Barbara mountains. Each set was bundled with ivory organza ribbon, ready to send.

Wedding suite

Emily + James

Pieces
Invitation, details card, rehearsal dinner invitation, toile envelope liner, café illustration, addressed envelopes

A blue toile suite drawn in soft pencil, with flowering branches framing every card and the names lettered in rosewood script. The envelope liner tells the couple’s story in toile vignettes: where they met, where she said yes, where they live, where they vow and where they dance.
